Home staging at The Places is a conscious process of preparing a property for sale or rental through thoughtful work with space, light and detail. It is an approach rooted in interior design, scenography and many years of experience working with a wide range of residential and commercial spaces. I treat interiors as stories – narratives that are intuitively read by the viewer long before any rational decision is made.

My approach to home staging is not about decoration or temporary styling. It is a considered arrangement process aimed at revealing the true potential of a place and presenting it in a way that is clear, coherent and attractive from a market perspective. The space should engage emotions while remaining neutral enough for future owners or tenants to imagine themselves living there.

Decisions about property are made quickly and are often driven by first impressions. Clients do not analyse layouts in centimetres or materials in isolation. They experience the space as a whole – its light, proportions, atmosphere and the way it makes them feel. A well-executed home staging process brings order to the interior, highlights its strengths and naturally guides the viewer’s attention.

Each collaboration begins with a careful analysis of the space. I look at architecture, function, light and potential, while also considering the target audience and the purpose of the property. A home prepared for sale requires a different approach than an investment apartment or a short-term rental.

Based on this, I develop an arrangement concept that reflects the character of the interior and its possibilities. I am close to an eclectic philosophy, mixing styles and working in the spirit of zero waste. I often build on what already exists in the space, adding elements that strengthen its identity and visual clarity. I always seek balance between aesthetics, functionality and budget.

The implementation stage focuses on detail, light and composition. Every element matters, as it is the sum of small decisions that creates the atmosphere of a place. The interior should feel calm, inviting and coherent, free from excess and visual noise. The goal is not to impose a style, but to create a neutral background that allows the viewer to imagine their own life within the space.

My approach to home staging is directly influenced by twelve years of experience in the film industry as a location manager and scenographer. Working with film sets taught me how to quickly read spatial potential, work with emotion, light and framing, and consciously build atmosphere. Home staging is a natural continuation of this practice, translated into the real estate context.

I work with private clients, investors, real estate agencies and owners of commercial spaces. The scope of each project is tailored individually to the property, expectations and desired outcome. I treat home staging as a tool that supports decision-making and has a real impact on the effectiveness of a listing.

Home staging is often combined with professional interior photography. Thanks to my design and film background, I understand the importance of light, perspective and composition. Strong images are not just documentation – they are a visual story and the first point of contact with the viewer.

If you are looking to prepare your property in an authentic, thoughtful way that respects its character, I invite you to get in touch. Home staging at The Places is an attentive process rooted in experience, sensitivity and a deep understanding of how spaces affect people.
